Kit 02
The First 24 Hours.
The film is done. This is the part most teams improvise, and it is the part that decides whether the work travelled.
Before you post
- Every cutdown is exported, captioned and uploaded as a draft. Nothing is being rendered today.
- One person owns replies for the first four hours and has nothing else booked.
- The thumbnail and first frame are checked at phone size, not on the edit monitor.
- Captions are burned in. Most of the feed is watching without sound.
Hour zero to two
- Lead surface only. Do not post everywhere at once; you are looking for a signal, not coverage.
- Reply to everything. Early replies are the cheapest distribution there is.
- Write down the phrases people reach for. If they all describe the same thing, it worked.
- Do not touch the copy. Editing the post resets its distribution on most surfaces.
Hour two to eight
- Second surface goes up, cut for that surface, not cropped from the first.
- Anyone quoted or featured gets a direct nudge, not a public tag.
- If the lead surface is flat by hour four, the film is not the problem. The first frame usually is.
Hour eight to twenty-four
- Third surface. By now you know which cut is carrying and can lead with it.
- Amplification only behind a post that already moved on its own. Never in front of one that did not.
- Screenshot the replies worth keeping. That is next quarter's brief.
The number to write down at the end of the day is not views. It is how many people used your words back at you.
Everything above assumes the film was built to travel without spend behind it. If it was not, no amount of launch-day operations will rescue it, and that decision was made three weeks earlier.
