FAQ

The questions buyers actually ask.

If yours isn't here, ask it on the call. We answer with a person, not a form.

The work

F/01 What exactly do you make?

The announcement film: the one cut that goes up on launch day and carries a product, a company or a raise into the world, plus the cutdowns each surface actually needs. X, LinkedIn and Instagram are treated as three different films, not three crops of one.

We do not make explainers and we do not make product demos.

F/02 Is the product footage real?

Yes. Product UI is composited from real screens, never generated. If the interface in the film does not exist yet, we say so before the shoot rather than inventing it in post.

F/03 Do we need a script before we start?

No. A launch date is enough. If you bring a final script the 7 to 12 day clock starts immediately; from a blank page a full campaign has shipped in under 15 days.

What we will not skip is the feeling. It is decided and written down before a word of script exists, because skipping it is why films get re-cut.

F/04 Will the film work without media spend?

That is the constraint we build against. Every film is made to travel on its own; paid amplification is an add-on you can buy, not a dependency the work leans on.

Money and time

F/05 What does it cost?

A one-off Launch Video is $6,465 for production, or $9,495 with a shoot. The Growth Partner retainer is $11,495 a month on a six-month term, or $12,945 a month on three.

Distribution add-ons sit on top: $4,950 per video for guaranteed 100K views, and from $15,495 for amplification up to 1M. Full pricing.

F/06 Is it ever hourly?

Never. Fixed fee, quoted against your launch date. You know the number and the delivery date before anything starts, and neither moves because a round took longer than we hoped.

F/07 How fast can you actually ship?

Single Cut in 7 days. Launch Set, which is the hero plus every surface cutdown, in 10 to 12. Ongoing social in 5 to 8. A full campaign in under 15 days from a blank page.

F/08 Why is the retainer a three month minimum?

Because one video is a sample and four is a signal. Discovery lands in week one, the first video ships in week two, and results show in weeks four to six. Anything shorter measures noise.

Working together

F/09 What happens on the retainer, month to month?

Four videos a month against one art direction and a consistent visual system. Responses are monitored and each video is tuned on what the last one did.

Phase 1 crafts perception for accounts that need reach. Phase 2 monetises the audience for accounts that already have it. If you have reach, you start at Phase 2.

F/10 Do you do product design or websites?

Yes, and other GTM collateral too. It is scoped on a call rather than listed with a price, because the range is too wide to quote honestly in advance.

F/11 How many clients do you take at once?

A small number, deliberately. A launch date is a hard edge and there is no way to hold several of them in the same week without one of them slipping.

F/12 Whose work is in the portfolio?

Work by IEE Studios, whose team is joining Haymaker. Every claim on this site is attributed there until the merger closes. We would rather say that plainly than let a case study imply otherwise.

Still deciding?

Bring the date. That's the whole brief.

Twenty minutes, and you will leave knowing whether we fit your launch or not.
